On Options: My Rationale Explained
Everyone of us at one time or another have faced worries and anxiety in many areas of our lives and this is because as responsible being we are made to analyze and to either avoid of solve these anticipated threats. However, constant worry could signal unsound stress and a certain level of anxiety that when it becomes a chronic condition demands attention. A person who has chronic anxiety will make him unable to think straight and make him become lethargic and he has this feeling of exhaustion or unhealthy stress. With chronic anxiety, one always feels a heavy burden within although one is still able to accomplish his daily routinary work. IN a state of anxiety one can sometimes feel that he is breathing heavily within.
Exercise or working on a physical activity has been proven by so many to help reduce anxiety and improve the persons mood. It eases symptoms of anxiety or depression and make the person feel better. Somehow a person experiencing anxiety should be encouraged to do physical activities and with his determination help curb it; otherwise we can say that on his own, physical activity will be the last thing on an anxious person’s mind.
Regular exercise might just be the better remedy instead of an upfront workout or some other rhythmic exercise to help the person relieve it pent-up condition on the spot.
When one does exercising on a regular basis until it forms a habit, one will gain many psychological and emotional benefits from it.
This includes gaining self-confidence because meeting exercise goals or challenges that is either big or small can incrementally boost the person’s self-confidence. It also distracts the person from dwelling on those negative thoughts that feed those anxious and depressing speculations since it needs to focus its attention to the physical task that is at hand.
While others also ridiculously try those – supposedly anti-depressant means by drinking alcohol or taking drugs to make them feel better, there is no bodily effort or pursuit to take their mind out from those depressing thoughts. And the person gets worse since he is still dwelling on his worries which taking things that are not good to take.
Physical activity to combat depression does not only mean rigid workouts although regular exercise is good enough. In fact, some research shows that ‘physical activity’ such as regular walking or one that does not involve a formal program – may largely improve a person’s mood. What I am trying to say is that physical activity and exercise are not the same thing. Therefore, depending on the persons make, each is compelled to its own flair of being distracted from dwelling on those negative thoughts that feed those anxious and depressing speculations. But a physical activity is important and something that will also keep you physically fit.
